     Frances Shavers was at the height of her career and personal life when she was struck with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a rare disease inflicting chronic pain countless times a day. Fifty percent of these patients commit suicide within two years of their diagnosis. Frances has chosen to live, fighting for hope each day. 

CPT Ben Harrow's Story

     Captain Ben Harrow was injured in Afghanistan, losing his legs so far above the knee that doctors said he couldn't ever wear prosthetics. 'Benny' instead underwent surgery and treatments to grow his femur bone 6 inches, setting medical world records and displaying the problem-solving mentality he fostered as a Green Beret.
